Run-Write-Take

 


RUN

Present Tense:

  • I run every morning to stay fit.

  • She runs marathons twice a year.

Past Tense:

  • I ran five miles yesterday.

  • They ran through the park last weekend.

Future Tense:

  • I will run in the charity race next month.

  • He will run to catch the bus if he's late.

Past Participle (Present Perfect):

  • I have run this route many times before.

  • She has run with her dog in every park in the city.


WRITE

Present Tense:

  • I write in my journal every night.

  • She writes articles for the local newspaper.

Past Tense:

  • I wrote a letter to my friend yesterday.

  • They wrote their reports last week.

Future Tense:

  • I will write a novel someday.

  • He will write an email to the manager tomorrow.

Past Participle (Present Perfect):

  • I have written several essays this semester.

  • She has written a book about her travels.


TAKE

Present Tense:

  • I take the bus to work every day.

  • She takes her coffee with cream and sugar.

Past Tense:

  • I took a day off yesterday.

  • They took a trip to the mountains last weekend.

Future Tense:

  • I will take my exam next week.

  • He will take his dog for a walk this evening.

Past Participle (Present Perfect):

  • I have taken this class before.

  • She has taken several photos of the sunset.
